Gratitude is a blessing we can all have if we decide to be always thankful and we incorporate this virtue into every moment of our day.
Through gratitude you have the power to turn challenges into opportunities, problems into solutions and losses into gain.
Gratitude creates a shortcut to manifesting miracles and it opens a portal of blessings.
When you decide to live in a state of gratitude, you will be training your brain to look at life as a flow of infinite possibilities, and you will be able to see only the goodness in life, and the beauty in people.
Maintaining a state of thankfulness will allow a flow of abundance to you from all directions; abundance of health, abundance of wealth, abundance of joy, and abundance of love.
When your brain is programmed to live in a state of gratitude it will begin to seek ways to verify the experience. When it verifies it enough, it then becomes a subconscious program.
So if your subconscious mind believed that life is good and abundant – how do you think your life would change?
Your subconscious beliefs are so powerful; if your subconscious mind holds positive beliefs, they will be built upon every time the brain encounters a situation that verifies such a belief.
This will influence how you perceive the world, how you think about things, and how you evaluate things.
Since your thoughts set the stage for your future experiences, having positive thoughts and beliefs will serve you.
How?
You will begin to attract only positive experiences.
You will not only think in terms of thankfulness and gratitude but you will feel it deep within your heart.
The law of attraction states that we will attract into our life the things we think about and focus on. When you are consciously aware of your blessings, and are grateful for them, you are focusing more clearly on what you want and are attracting more of those things into your life.
Be grateful for people, their contributions, their talents and their actions – and make sure you let them know how you feel.
One of the fastest ways to improve your mood or outlook on life is to count your blessings.
How can you be more grateful, more often?
It’s really very easy.
- Make a list of 10 things you are grateful for right now in your life. These can be big things (like your family, your children, or your loved ones) or little things (like the fact that someone opened the door for you, someone helped you this morning in the supermarket carry your grocery.)
- Go back to your list from time to time and allow yourself to feel good about these things.
- If there is a person you can thank or show your appreciation to, do that through a call or email.
4.Take a gratitude walk in nature and think of all the things you are grateful for in your life.
5.Place a gratitude jar inside your house next to the door. At the end of each day write a note about the things that happened with you during the day that made you feel grateful. By the end of the year read the notes in this jar and notice how happy you will feel and how thankful you will become to live a beautiful life. This exercise will allow you to start talking about your blessings more often and less about your lacks and will shift your vibration to be in alignment with source energy that is so generous and loves to be appreciated. So the more you say thank you to the Universe the more the universe would want to give you more of what you are grateful for.
Think of the Universe as yourself; imagine you went shopping all day looking for the most beautiful gift to to offer on your friend’s birthday. While shopping all you were thinking about was the reaction of joy on your friends face once he/she receives the gift. But instead when you give the gift to your friend she looked at it in disgust and said: “I don’t like this color”, instead of saying:” thank you so much I love it”
Would you want to give her anything in the future? Would you want to put extra effort to make her feel happy?
That’s how the universe would feel anytime we are ungrateful.
So today and every day I chose to be grateful and say “THANK YOU!” more often. What about you?
